The Genesis Creation Myth
The Heavens and Earth = Formless waste Darkness covered the water
Light (Did God make the sun and stars here?) Division between light and dark (night and day) He calls Light-day / Darkness-night Evening & Morning Came (This alone clearly shows that the seven days of Genesis were seven literal days not seven eons of time.)
End of First day
A division and expanse – Heaven (the sky)
End of Second Day
Water came together in one place and made land appear Earth (land), Seas Grass, Vegetation bearing seeds, fruit trees (Made land plants first!)
End of Third Day
Luminaries Makes a division between day and night (Makes night and day again!) Sun and moon and stars to shine upon the Earth
End of Forth day
Sea creatures (Makes life in the ocean after land plants!) Flying creatures (He made birds before land animals!) Sea monsters (???????)
End of Fifth Day
Land animals -- Wild beasts and domestic animals (God created domestic animals?) Man Gave vegetation to all animals for food
End of sixth Day
Proceeded to rest on the Seventh Day, made it holy “On it he has been resting.”
The first land plants were certainly not grass and fruit trees, nor were the first animals wild beasts and domestic animals.
